Accident at Subway Central and School System Restaurant

A restaurant patron died of a heart attack while eating dinner.

59 year old John Barker suffered a heart attack when an automobile crashed through the front window of the restaurant.

The car was driven by 82 year old Annie Coulter. Police say Coulter said the brakes on her car failed as she swerved to avoid a pedestrian.

John Barker recieved cuts from the glass then complained about pains in his chest where he then died at the Memorial Hospital and Annie Coulter was hurt in the accident.

School System Restaurant

The Ticonderoga County school system has decided to get out of the restaurant business.

The school will close at the end of the year where special-education students come to work and lear about the food-service industry.

The move will save the school system $20,000 to $50,000 a year according to the school spokesman Randall Styles.
